Program Format
The Executive Development Program delivers state-of-the-art, industry-specific
knowledge in an intensive week of seminars, presentations and interactions.
Participation in study teams and case-study analysis is an integral part
of the program and is required of all participants. The program considers
this daily interaction among faculty and participants as crucial to its
success and vital to the overall experience.
In light of the changing economic
picture, this year’s cases will involve
such topics as managing struggling properties, dealing with social impact
concerns in the community, and establishing marketing and positioning strategies
in competitive gaming jurisdictions. Fluency in English is required of all
participants. This year’s program will include a full day of special
in-depth seminars. Topics will include casino financing issues, internal
controls, casino mathematics and casino marketing.
Program Schedule
The Executive Development Program begins with registration and a reception
on Tuesday evening, Nov. 4, 2008; orientation begins promptly at 8:30

activities.
Who Should Attend
The Executive Development Program attracts a diverse and dynamic group
of participants. Now in its 18th year of offering an exceptional educational
experience, the program has graduated more than 800 executives from
gaming companies and regulatory agencies throughout the world.
The
program is designed for executives in positions of substantial responsibility,
who help shape the future within their organizations. It is also appropriate
for those in specific functional areas who have decision-making responsibilities
at the senior level. The program would benefit others about to move
into such positions who seek to gain knowledge specific to the gaming
